Our Favorite Yard Games and Outdoor Toys for Summer from Walmart

This post is sponsored by Walmart.

Sing it with me… “Schooooooool’s out for SUMMER!!!”

Which, in parent-speak, that basically translates to, “Oh my gosh! Get these kids to burn off some energy outside! Whew!”

Since we’ve had such a huge focus on backyard makeovers this past year, it’s really nice that we finally get to enjoy the fruits of our labor. (We’re not completely to the finish line just yet, but it’s come such a long way.)

So Robert and I devised a plan.

When school let out, I put in a Walmart+ order, Robert took the kids to get snow cones, and once all of the yard games and outdoor toys arrived at our doorstep, I started setting them up as a school’s-out-surprise.

We busted out the lawn sprinklers, the giant Jenga, and the water balloons to make all of the summer memories.

If you need some ideas for fun lawn games, pool toys, kids’ yard toys, and water toys, I pulled together a bunch that we love. (Whatever you’ve gotta do to help those kids burn some energy up and get away from the screens. 😉 )

We’ve had our Walmart+ membership since last fall, and it always comes in handy when we’re wrangling the kids and don’t want to trek them to the store.

If you’re new to Walmart+, it’s a membership to help save money, time, and add convenience to everyday tasks.

For some zip codes, members get free delivery from your store ($35 minimum, restrictions apply) in as little as same day on all kinds of items that can be purchased in Walmart’s stores with the same everyday low prices you love.

Other benefits include member prices on fuel and mobile scan & go so you can check out with your phone as you shop in-store.

Here are our favorite outdoor games and toys that are usually in stock for quick delivery:

Lawn Games

Pool Toys

Kids’ Yard Toys

Kids’ Water Toys

If you want more info about how to get a Walmart+ membership, you can find it all here.

The membership pays for itself in two deliveries (based on the $7.95 delivery fee). I’ve discovered I save money in the long-run with deliveries anyway because it prevents me from impulse buying.

Here’s hoping for LOTS of backyard hangouts and cookouts and joyful summer memory-making ahead! And hopefully a nap or two once we wear out these kids. 😉
