SAVE $40: Amazon and Walmart have the Nintendo Switch on sale for $259.99 as of May 11. That's 13% off its $299.99 MSRP and its lowest price to date.
The Nintendo Switch supply chain shortages of 2020 feel like a distant memory: As of May 11, the bestselling dual-mode console was on sale at Amazon and Walmart for a new all-time low price of $259.99. That shaves 13% off its $299.99 MSRP for a $40 savings, which is $20 better than a previous record-low at Woot (an Amazon-owned daily deals site).
This offer is especially impressive considering the Switch in question is brand new, not refurbished or renewed. Plus, both retailers had enough units in stock at the time of writing to guarantee free one- or two-day shipping depending on your location. (Never though we'd see the day.)
A deal this good/rare definitely won't last long, so we recommend placing your order as soon as humanly possible. But just in case you need a quick refresher, this is the standard (non-OLED) Switch with Neon Blue and Neon Red Joy-Cons, a 6.2-inch touchscreen, and about 9 hours of battery life.
If you feel that spare $40 burning a hole in your pocket, consider picking up a microSD card or putting it toward a Switch Pro Controller — either one would remedy a drawback of this otherwise excellent system (i.e., limited internal storage and those drifty, uncomfortable Joy-Cons, respectively).
